David's Bookshops was established in 1963 and is located in Eastcheap, Letchworth Garden City, only a few minutes’ walk from the railway station. David's Bookshop stock a wide range of books, music, cards and has a lovely cafe. They are confident that you will find the most comprehensive range of music and books. David's Bookshop has over 50,000 books on two floors and a wide range of maps, including every OS Explorer and Landranger. They can supply any book in print and there are always many titles on special offer. The children's book section is especially popular.

Second hand books to buy or sell

A growing selection of the 15,000 second-hand and antiquarian books is available through the internet. If you have good quality books to sell, take them in for a quick appraisal and a fair offer. It is advised to enquire before taking them in as they are often inundated. You can rely upon staff advice as they really know about books.

Music to buy or sell

If music is your passion then check out the enormous range of CDs, DVDs and vinyl in David's Music. All the latest hits and albums are stocked as is a comprehensive range of sheet music and 12" vinyl. All tastes in music are catered for, contemporary, jazz, folk, classical and dance. The shop also hosts listings of local gigs and often acts as the booking point for local music events. There is also a massive stock of second-hand CDs, DVDs and vinyl for purchase. Good quality material is bought at fair prices. They do have a listen-before-you-buy facility for CDs.

Cards

David's Bookshop stock an extensive range of cards. Many are hand-made as well as high quality notebooks, including Moleskine, notelets and wrapping paper.
