Her love of nature and colour inspires many of Fiona's designs. Her renowned collection of enamelled jewellery, cufflinks and fine jewellery express her passion for design, beauty in nature and obsession with colour.

Fiona Rae designs all her own creations and is involved in every step of design and making. Her craftsmanship has gained herself a renowned reputation as a goldsmith and enameller of the highest quality and ensuring personal detail to every piece. Fiona's work is a fusion of traditional craft skills alongside the latest developments in technology and computer aided design. She creates an innovative, contemporary edge by integrating different techniques, all demanding extreme precision. This lends the pieces the subtlety, intricate detail and amazing depth of colour.

Where is Fiona based

Fiona Rae is based in the Stable Yard at the historic Hatfield House. The beautiful shop and studio are open to visitors selling a range of handmade jewellery and cufflinks with designs to suit every budget. There are beautiful and luxurious fine jewellery items on display.

Each ring is made using the finest ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones. With Fiona's family connections to a prestigious and well established diamond and gemstone specialists, you are guaranteed of the highest quality and selection to choose from. 

The Journey of Bespoke

Fiona will use her 25 years of experience and knowledge to help you realise your vision in jewellery, along with a commitment to supreme craftsmanship and personal service. Previous bespoke commissions range from £2,000 upwards. After a one-to-one consultation with Fiona she can show you a selection of precious stones and hand drawn sketches, paintings and technical drawings. The range of services include custom made fine jewellery, cufflinks and the sourcing of rare gemstones from around the world. The gemstones are all carefully hand selected and of the highest prestige. With Fiona's respected and established family connections in the gemstone industry, she is able source rare and valuable stones ensuring quality at every stage. Fiona can provide detailed information on all the gems and provide certificated diamonds and precious stones. 

Royal Warrant

It has been Fiona's privilege to have held a Royal Warrant since 2001. Fiona Rae jewellery was originally set up in 1990 after being granted a loan from The Princes Trust. Fiona's work came to the attention of HRH The Prince of Wales, who then commissioned a range of gifts which Fiona has been supplying since 1994. This then led to Fiona being awarded a Royal Warrant. She has since designed and supplied pieces which have been used as State Gifts by HM The Queen and HRH The Prince of Wales. It is not only an honour to create such pieces but Fiona feels it reflects the company's integrity and discretion with all clients.

Responsibility 

At Fiona Rae they adhere to a strict ethical business practice and code of conduct. They aim to be responsible to society and the environment and ensure that the raw materials they use can be ethically guaranteed. All the diamonds are purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. Fiona Rae can guarantee that their diamonds are conflict free based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds. Fiona Rae only work with companies that can ensure responsible environmental practice. The supplier they use for precious metals are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council and can provide written evidence documenting that the raw materials used in any components or products supplied meet all requirements and are conflict free.
