Auberge du Lac is housed in Brocket Hall’s former hunting lodge. The restaurant is situated in an idyllic lakeside setting overlooking the beautiful 543 acre country estate and the Hall itself. With numerous awards, Auberge du Lac provides the highest standards in cuisine and service. Whether it is al fresco dining in summer at the water’s edge or an intimate environment in the winter months, Auberge du Lac provides the right mood for every occasion. With a beautiful lounge, picturesque terrace and a host of tastefully decorated private dining rooms, capable of seating from 2 to 16 guests, the restaurant regularly caters for private dinners, ladies lunches, weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations.

Each season brings new and exciting produce, something the team of Chefs work with and enjoy. Working on the Brocket Hall Estate gives the team the opportunity to forage on the Estate, collecting wild cherries, elderflower and mint, all of which feature on the menus. Midweek Dining

Enjoy the perfect midweek treat for just £39.00 per person with the Market Menu three course dinner. Alternatively, join Auberge du Lac for lunch from Wednesday - Saturday for £29.50 per person. The perfect excuse for a leisurely lunch or dinner overlooking the beautiful Brocket Hall Estate.

Private Dining

Private dining at Auberge du Lac is a very special experience. As well as providing an unrivalled dining experience, Auberge du Lac hosts four private dining rooms which can seat from 2 to 18 guests. Suitable for lunches, dinners, small meetings, incentives and much more, Auberge du Lac is the perfect choice when you require privacy and luxury. The beautiful lounge and an al fresco terrace with a charming lakeside setting provide the perfect backdrop for arrival drinks whatever the weather. For a larger scale event, exclusive use for up to 90 guests can be enjoyed by those wishing to entertain clients or celebrate a special occasion, providing an intimate dining experience with panoramic views of the rural estate.

Each event is unique and so are the menus. Special set menus are created by the Head Chef for your event and the Sommelier will guide you through the wonderful world of wine and provide paired wines for the occasion. Extend your stay in the beautifully appointed Melbourne Lodge, the converted Georgian stables. 16 bedrooms with excellent amenities, fluffy robes, slippers and stunning views will ensure your guests have the perfect end to each day.
