Making a difference

Mind in Mid Herts is an innovative and experienced provider of mental health services in Mid Hertfordshire. Wellbeing centres are in St. Albans, Stevenage, Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. As individuals and an organisation, they are committed to providing high quality services for people aged 16 and over. If you need any help or advice please contact them and they will assist you as best they can. Mind in Mid Herts is a registered charity in England and Wales and a company limited by guarantee in England.

History

Mind in Mid Herts is a local mental health voluntary association and charity. They came into existence through the amalgamation of Mind in Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, and Mind in St Albans. This happened on 1st March 2007, with a remit to provide services across the Mid Hertfordshire area.

Service provision

Mind in Mid Herts aim to provide services that include: all persons who live in the locality, promote social inclusion, provide facilities for early intervention, work cooperatively with partners, such as Herts Mind Network, Social Services and the NHS, provide effective support for groups and individuals, support carers and are user led.

High quality services

Mind in Mid Herts is committed to providing high quality, user led and relevant services. Mind follows the guidelines and are accredited, by the national Minds quality assessment process.

Volunteering  

Without volunteers Mind in Mid Herts could not maintain the levels of service that it currently provides. Induction, training, support and supervision are provided for all volunteers. If you feel that this would be right for you then please contact Mind in Mid Herts.

Working in partnership

Mind in Mid Herts is committed to working in partnership to deliver the services required. To also maintain and develop links with statutory and non statutory organisations.
